Recording a payment collected via Booking.com
For reservations made through Booking.com and processed via Payments by Booking.com, payment details, including security deposits and authorization holds, will not be collected or synced to Guesty. Additionally, the guest's credit card information will not be imported into Guesty. We recommend you to manually record payments in Guesty to avoid reservations showing as unpaid in your reservation reports and to ensure check-in instructions are automatically sent to guests.
Additionally, any payment adjustments you set in Guesty, including default additional fees, will not apply to Booking.com. However, these additional fees will still appear on the reservation invoice in Guesty, even though they won't be collected by Booking.com. To ensure additional fees are collected, set them up in the Booking.com Extranet.
